Do you live outside of the city limits? Got some property along with your residence? These kinds of property often take longer to sell, because the kinds of buyers they need are more specific. “I want a horse property! I want a cattle property! I can’t live on a dirt road!” Well, okay, then.
We are familiar with buying and selling rural properties, especially in central and southern Texas, so if you are having trouble figuring out a marketing angle for your property, get in tough. Your property may well fall into the “sad house” category that we are happy to work with, or we may be able to direct you to someone who is in the market for what you have.
You never know until you ask, you know. Call us at 512-807-8777, and we’ll put you in touch with our rural property team!
Hey friend, do you have any properties over in Comal or Guadalupe counties? Maybe even Hays county. I’m just daydreaming, but my dream includes something shady I can plunk a mobile home on, half acre or more, ideally fenced. I’m going to be down there in September, looking around. I don’t even know where to start or the right questions to ask. Anna

We don’t have any there, but are familiar. More familiar with Hays than the others. You might want to consider looking up north of Austin, too, like Milam or Bell counties. Land is less expensive. Come see us in September–Suna
