It’s for rent, but wont’ be for long.

First off, if you are looking for a nice 3/2 house in Cameron, Texas, we have one available. It’s in great shape and in a safe, family neighborhood. The same family had rented this house for over a decade, and finally decided to buy a house.

Second, if you are thinking of renting a home, or are (like our former tenants) renting and trying to decide whether it would be better to stay in your rental or buy a house, please read this post by our partner Lee Bruns. In it, he says:

I’ve long believed that everyone should buy a house…eventually. The question should be, “Is this the right time for me to buy a house?”

Of course the answer to that question is different for everyone, and it changes over time.

For the Locals

Today’s real estate market has lots of factors that make the buy or rent decision harder than it used to be. The one that really gets to people in the Austin area is property taxes. In Austin they can be almost as high as your mortgage payment, so of course you have to factor them into your home buying budget. Even Round Rock taxes are going up and up.

But, it’s important that you make an informed decision and do what’s best for you and your family. If you read Lee’s information and wonder if we can help you, please call us at 512-807-8777!
